Theatre of the Oppressed

The Theatre of the Oppressed (TDO) is a method developed by Augusto Boal theater from the '60s, Brazil and Europe. Theatre of the Oppressed seeks to make the viewer the protagonist of the stage so you can become even their lives. The pedagogical approach is designed to stimulate creativity and to emphasize the differences.
The workshop addressed all the people interested in learning this technique, particularly educators, teachers, psychologists and practitioners of international cooperation means use the technique of the Theatre of the Oppressed in social work.
The path is based on the premise that theater is a useful tool to help participants using a non-judgmental education, to analyze the social mechanisms in which they live and apply strategies of nonviolent conflict transformation.
You do not need no prior theatrical experience.
At the end of the course participants will receive a quick dispensation of the periods presented and practical guidance on how to run some games exercises self-(year end, duration, delivery for participants etc.)..
